We sealed the surface, erased the stains, and gave him a sleek, durable epoxy floor that's not only easy to clean but built to last. Now, instead of a dull, worn-out space, Trevor has the polished, high-end garage he always wanted.

Benefits of Epoxy Flooring
Durability: Gordon Painting's epoxy floors are designed to handle whatever you throw at them. They're stain-resistant, withstand chemical spills, handle hot temperatures (up to 300°F), and stand up to everyday wear from foot traffic, vehicles, and equipment.
Longevity: With UV protection and minimal maintenance requirements, quality epoxy floors can last 10 to 15 years or more while maintaining their beauty and strength. This makes epoxy an excellent long-term investment.
Easy Maintenance: Unlike bare concrete or other flooring options, epoxy floors are non-porous. Spills, dirt, and debris stay on the surface where they're easily swept or mopped away. No more scrubbing stains out of porous concrete!
Customization: Choose from solid colors, decorative vinyl flake patterns, or stunning metallic finishes. We help you select the perfect style to complement your space and personal taste.
Epoxy Floor Types
- Solid Color Epoxy: Clean, uniform appearance in a wide range of colors
- Vinyl Flake Epoxy: Multi-color flakes create texture and hide imperfections
- Metallic Epoxy: High-gloss, swirling patterns for a one-of-a-kind look

How long does epoxy flooring last?
Quality epoxy floors typically last 10-15 years or more with proper care. The longevity depends on the traffic level, use, and maintenance. Our premium epoxy systems are designed for maximum durability, and we back many installations with a warranty.
How long does epoxy floor installation take?
Most residential garage floors can be completed in 2-3 days. The timeline includes surface preparation (Day 1), base coat and decorative application (Day 2), and top coat with curing time (Day 3). Larger commercial projects may take longer. You'll typically be able to walk on the floor within 24 hours and drive on it within 72 hours.
Can epoxy be applied over painted or stained concrete?
It depends on the condition of the existing coating. We test adhesion during our consultation. If the existing paint is peeling or poorly adhered, it must be removed. Well-bonded coatings can sometimes be abraded and coated over, but proper surface preparation is essential for epoxy adhesion.
Is epoxy flooring slippery?
Smooth epoxy can be slippery when wet. That's why we recommend vinyl flake finishes for garages and high-traffic areas—the texture provides slip resistance while looking great. We can also add anti-slip additives to any epoxy floor for enhanced traction.
How do I maintain my epoxy floor?
Epoxy floors are very low maintenance. Regular sweeping and occasional mopping with a mild cleaner keeps them looking great. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. For garage floors, placing mats under vehicles during winter helps catch salt and moisture.
